A View from the Road—April 2017
David Orr PE, Director, CLRP
This is the first week of baseball season when every team has a perfect record and hope springs eternal.
Our spring workshop season is also in full swing. From Traffic Signs and Pavement Markings in late March to the Highway School on June 12–14, we have a full lineup (See the batting order below). We are also scheduling some extra innings with engineering workshops on ADA details and geosynthetics in pavements over the summer.
We need a roster of at least 15 people for each workshop so step up to the plate and register. And, there is no problem with an extra at bat or two. But, once you get your ticket (registration), please let us know if you cannot make it as soon as possible. If there is an emergency at work or home, we will do our best to accommodate and give you a pass. Otherwise, we need to know 3 business days in advance to adjust food orders or offer your space to someone who may be on a waiting list. Please do not just fail to show up; you can always send in a pinch hitter.
