FWD Testing

FWD Testing is scheduled for 24 times over 12 months depending upon the date of the initial site investigation.

More testing is scheduled during critical periods such as spring thaw.

For Phase II, the primary units will be US Customary.

  1. Arrive at Site
  2. Coordinate Personnel
  3. Inspect Test Section
  4. Record Pavement and
    Air Temperatures and Frost Depth Measurements(if applicable)
  5. Prepare FWD Equipment
  6. Warm up FWD and Check FWD Drop Heights
  7. Collect Deflection Data
  8. Complete Data Collection
    (2nd temperature measurements) and Data Backup
  9. Prepare Equipment for Travel and Make Final Inspection
  10. Return to Base
