View from the Road - September 2015
The New York State Department of Transportation has chosen us to continue as the New York State LTAP Center for the next 5 years. In large part, this is due to your support. We are negotiating the details, but will continue helping you whenever, wherever, and however we can. Please let us know if you have any thoughts or suggestions. Look for details on our activities on our website, in the quarterly newsletter, Nuggets & Nibbles, and the monthly Road Chatter.

One thing you can do, that also helps yourself, is to attend our workshops. The value in attending is not only the information learned in the workshop, but also knowledge gained while talking with your colleagues in the highway community. We had to cancel three drainage workshops due to low registrations. We don't like doing this, but have to meet minimum requirements to justify the costs of holding the session. Plus, many of these workshops work best with a minimum number in attendance. We still have low numbers for many of the fall scheduled workshops. The list for the fall is shown below or you can request one of our workshops. Sign up now!
We also have a Snow and Ice Control requested workshop in Yaphank on October 14. There are a few seats available; if you are interested, please call or email us.
