A View from the Road—March 2016
“An investment in knowledge pays the best interest”
We have a frost tube in the ground here in Ithaca that allows us to track the progress of the winter freezing and spring thaw. Normally we would expect to see the frost come out about the time we start our Spring workshop season. This year there has been very little frost and the ground was thawed as of last weekend (February 22). While this winter has been a bit off cycle, our Spring workshop season is still on schedule.
The Spring workshop season starts on March 29th with Powers and Duties in Wyoming County and ends with the Highway School on June 6-8 here in Ithaca. We have scheduled 25 regular workshops, the CAMP–RS Summer Intern training, plus an engineering level workshop on the Americans with Disabilities Act (April 28th in Jamestown). We will be holding two more sessions of the ADA workshop this fall in Oneida and Rockland Counties. More details for those sessions and the fall workshops will be coming over the summer.
See below for a listing of all of the workshops between now and Highway School. Space is limited so sign up soon.
