Do Villages have their own version of the Office of the Town Highway Superintendent or “Red Book?”
While there is no publication available specifically for village Public Works officials, there are general handbooks for city and village officials published by the New York Conference of Mayors (NYCOM) and available for purchase by non-NYCOM members.
The Cornell Local Roads Program also offers an entire library of publications and manuals on local highway and public works management. These publications are available at no cost for local highway and public works departments.
