Are there any publications available on Culvert Flushing?
We are not aware of any flushing guides for culverts. There are multiple methods for cleaning out culverts and each one has specific situations on when and where to use them. Due to the potential for pollution discharge when cleaning a culvert, we recommend you reach out to your local Soil and Water Conservation District for guidance on the proper method needed and
assistance with any permits that may be necessary.
